Ken Arok!

In this post, I will share to all of you a recount text that me and my group wrote. Please enjoy!

Initially Ken Arok was just an ordinary farmer. Until finally, he became the first ruler of the Singhasari Kingdom. When he was little, Ken Arok lived with his mother, named Ken Endog. But then, Ken Arok was placed in a grave. Then, he was found by thief named Lembong. Lembong then took care of him. Because Lembong was a thief, ken arok then grew up following the character of Lembong. When he was older, he realized what he was doing was wrong and he tried to repent.

When he was a teenager, he met a man named Loh Gawe, who was actually the confidant of head Tumapel at that time. Loh Gawe then took care of him and educated him to be a good person. But all the knowledge he had learned, suddenly disappeared when he first met Ken Dedes. He is in love with her, a wife of the Head of Tumapel.

Then to seize Ken Dedes, he met Mpu Gandring, who was the best smith in Tumapel, to make him a supernatural dagger. However, when the dagger was finished and given to Ken Arok, he instead killed Mpu Gandring. After that, he killed Tunggul Ametung and got Ken Dedes. At the end, he was appointed as the first King of the Singhasari Kingdom. (Singhasari is another name for Tumapel).
